Overview

This workshop is conducted in June and/or November to assist the managers to prepare for the formal mid-year and annual reviews.

 

Managers will learn and apply both the formal and informal tools and techniques to conduct performance reviews, appraisals, and critical conversations. Additional 1-on-1 support equips managers to deal with actual performance management situations. All managers will understand the company Performance Management process, and be able to apply the key steps when applicable.

 

Outcomes

At the completion of this program, the participants will be able to:

  • Give effective, specific, and timely feedback

  • Improve the skills and knowledge of their team members by providing feedback on the situation and their performance

  • Prepare constructive, helpful criticism and deliver in a professional way to each individual

  • Develop appropriate next steps and actions to follow up for improved performance

  • Prepare and deliver formal appraisals half-yearly and annually
